SMHA thanks the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League for inviting SMHA's eight U15A teams and Warman's U15A team to the SJHL-MJHL Western All-Star Challenge played in Martensville on November 4, 2025.

The SJHL All Stars took on the Manitoba Junior Hockey league All Stars in one of two games being played to determine the makeup of Team West in the 2025 World Junior A Challenge.

The good guys won the game on the 4th with the SJ coming out on top 3-1.

All nine namesake teams had full rosters of players and coaches attend the game courtesy of the SJHL - thank you!

Relationships were started between the SJ teams and the U15A teams and hopefully they will get together again this season.

The SJHL and SMHA began partnering on the SMHA's City Wide U15A league in 2022-23.  SMHA teams are proud to bear the name and wear the colours of the SJHL teams.
