U18AAA Saskatoon Contacts Name Mark Peterson Head Coach

The Board of Directors are pleased to announce that Mark Peterson will be the new Head Coach of the Saskatoon Contacts effective immediately. Mark joined the organization this past year in the role of Director of Scouting and Recruitment. Mark brings a great deal of passion for the game, and more importantly a desire to see players grow and succeed both on and off the ice. Mark is known for being an excellent communicator, straightforward and honest in his approach that is centered on continuous improvement and accountability.

Mark has been involved in hockey in Saskatchewan for many years as he has coached teams from the U15 AA level all the way up to spending six years with the University of Saskatchewan Huskies. He has spent many years working in skill and player development with individuals and teams throughout Saskatchewan with players from U7 to the professional level, and is currently active in coach development in his work with Hockey Saskatchewan as Coach Clinic Facilitator. Mark has obtained both his Hockey Canada High Performance l and ll (HP l, HP ll) levels of certification. Mark is currently Vice Principal with the Saskatoon Public School system at City Park School.

The Board of Directors of the Saskatoon Contacts would like to welcome Mark into his new role with the organization. The Contacts have a long history of a very successful program both on and off of the ice and we are excited to have Mark on board to continue to enhance the Contacts legacy.
