SMHA League Playoffs:

During the month of March, the SMHA holds League Playoffs, which determine the championship team within each division and tier after the regular season has been completed. Playoffs apply to all leagues from the Peewee age group and older. Playoffs are not held in the Novice and Atom age groups.

SMHA Provincial Playdowns:

The SMHA also holds playoffs each season to determine the teams that will be representing the SMHA in each of the tiers in each of the divisions (Peewee to Midget) that have Provincial Playoffs. 

Exhibition Games / Practices for Teams not Qualifying for Provincial Playdowns:
 
The SMHA has scheduled  exhibition games and/or practices for those teams that did not qualify for provincial playdowns or are waiting for their opposition to be determined.
